Rusagro sugar output rises 21% to 754,000 tns in 2021–2022 season

MOSCOW, Jan 18 (PRIME) -- The sugar output of Russian agricultural holding Rusagro increased by 21% to 754,000 tonnes in the current 2021–2022 agricultural season, the company said in a statement on Tuesday.

Rusagro’s production facilities have processed 4.85 million tonnes of sugar beet in the period, including 3.58 million tonnes of sugar beet, produced by the company’s farming division.

The company’s sugar stock amounted to around 466,000 tonnes as of the end of 2021.
